Update 1.0.7 dropped yesterday, and we already have another significant update coming your way, Adventurers!
Building upon significant community & Landowner feedback, we have made some significant upgrades to several core systems in RavenQuest, including Renown, Effort and Primed Tradepacks.
Your Renown will now have an additional benefit — your Effort generation will now speed up based on your Renown multiplier. We know Renown overall has not felt impactful enough, while we are dropping this today, we are continuing to cook additional benefits to Renown for our Adventurers.
Additionally, today we are dropping a major quality of life buff to Primed Tradepacks. We could not share this change in advance, because it would have heavily impacted the Primed Tradepack Certificate exchange, but we are very excited to share it today with you all!
Now let’s break down what's new in our second back to back days Update 1.0.7.1!
One of the key pieces of feedback we've received is that earning Renown didn’t feel as impactful as it should. Fact is that we want Renown to be something you truly feel every time you earn it — a reward that fuels your progress in a meaningful way.
That’s why we’re excited to announce a major improvement to how Renown benefits your character: Renown now boosts more than just your Fame — it also directly increases your Effort generation.
If your current Renown grants you a 2x Multiplier to Fame, that same multiplier will now apply to your base Effort generation as well. This makes Renown a far more powerful tool in your progression — especially for players looking to push deeper and optimize their efficiency.
This change gives Renown a much more central role in your long-term growth — making every point earned something to look forward to. Keep climbing, and feel the difference every step of the way!
Primed Tradepacks are a major source of $QUEST generation for Landowners in RavenQuest, but the flood of Primed Tradepack Certificates each week has turned what should be a rewarding grind into a tedious, repetitive chore. Running dozens of Primed Tradepacks in succession eats through massive amounts of materials, demands countless hours smelling your Moa farts in your wagon, and forces you to decide between pushing your Merchant Influence or obtaining silver for your packs — often making it feel like you’re losing out no matter which path you choose, and ultimately leading to majority of Landowners uninterested in participating in this major side of owning Land.
We explored countless solutions — some promising at first, but after direct testing, became uninteresting deadends — before landing on a set of changes that directly address three significant pain points Landowners have been facing.
With these improvements, choosing a Primed Tradepack is no longer a sacrifice — it’s a no-brainer, rewarding option that empowers both your silver gains and your Merchant Influence, at a significantly reduced cost.
Additionally, it reduces the amount of Materials, Effort, and Primed Tradepacks you need to run to get the same amount of Merchant Influence.
This change makes Primed Tradepack Certificates no longer a Landowner item to toss to the side, it not is simply a supercharged Tradepack, bringing new life and use case for Primed Tradepack Certificates!
Primed Tradepack Enhancers
Something that has been heavily requested since day 1, and increasing everyday, has been to bring more rewards to Adventurers who are supporting RavenQuest and the Ecosystem around $QUEST. Adventurers that want to utilize $QUEST, and watch it grow, not simply max-extract. To these Adventurers, first off, thank you. You've been heard, and we absolutely agree with your request.
Starting in today's patch, Adventurers will now have a chance to obtain a Primed Tradepack Enhancer when they spend $QUEST in RavenQuest — whether they're using $QUEST to cover a Silver cost, or using the Munk Shop to get a fresh pack of RavenCards, any use of $QUEST in-game will give them a chance to obtain a Primed Tradepack Enahncer.
Enhancers function as a consumable charge system. Each Enhancer used grants one boosted Primed Tradepack (still requires Primed Tradepack Certificates from a Landowner to craft) increasing the Merchant Influence of the Primed Tradepack delivered.
This brings additional value and call to action for Landowner's Primed Tradepack Certificates, giving further reason to obtain the now significantly more valuable Primed Tradepack Certificates.
You’ll be able to easily view how many charges you currently have directly within the Tradepack UI, where you can also choose to apply them automatically when crafting a Primed Tradepack if you have charges available:
We will continue to cook. This is just the start, Adventurers. Tell us what you think about the Update 1.0.7.1! Join the discussion in our Tavern on Discord and share your thoughts!
