Update 1.0.9 Notes

While the team continues to push full steam ahead on the massive Update 1.1.0, shaping it up to be a game-changing milestone packed with competitive systems, massive new content, we haven’t hit pause. Update 1.0.9 brings several important additions to keep the world of RavenQuest active and evolving!

This update introduces the long-awaited Munks for the Renown System, alongside new features in The Munk Shop, key adjustments to Dynamic Events, and a quality-of-life change that automatically grants Lifetime Patron status to all Landowners.

Though smaller in scope, Update 1.0.9 keeps the world of RavenQuest evolving as we prepare for the big milestone just over the horizon — this is another step on that journey!

The time has come for our most dedicated and passionate supporters to finally enjoy the power of their Munks! The Renown bonuses tied to Munk Profile NFTs are now officially active!

As you already know, each Munk Profile NFT grants a boost to your Renown based on its rarity. Here’s a full breakdown of the bonuses:

  • Basic+2% Renown
  • Common+4% Renown
  • Uncommon+6% Renown
  • Grand+8% Renown
  • Rare +10% Renown
  • Arcane+13% Renown
  • Mythic+16% Renown
  • Legendary +20% Renown

These bonuses are already applied in-game and can be viewed directly in the Renown UI  — but remember, you can still upgrade your Munk until June 1st, so while bonuses are active, minting isn’t available just yet. That step is coming soon!

A brand-new companion is arriving in the The Munk Shop’s Quality of Life section — the Mobile Currency Market Munk!

This addition follows the exact same rules as our existing Mobile Munks, but with a new purpose: when summoned, this Munk grants access to the Currency Exchange UI, allowing you to trade currencies on the go. Here's a breakdown on how it works:

  • Can be spawned once every 5 minutes.
  • Stays active for 5 minutes.
  • Limited to 1 per account.

Additionally, we've refreshed all item images in the Quality of Life section of the The Munk Shop to align with the Munk design.

Quality of Life

  • Revised the Augmenting Refund system to ensure more accurate refund calculations at each tier, guaranteeing that the Silver and Augmenting Stones returned never exceed the original investment. With this improvement in place, the feature has now been re-enabled (check more about it here)!
  • Added a mail message that informs on the quantity of $QUEST Tokens received each week.
  • Landowners will now automatically receive Lifetime Patron when Land is deposited into the game. If the Land is removed, the status will also be removed accordingly, ensuring that active Landowners consistently benefit from their Patron privileges while their Land is in the game.
  • Updated the Guild Crests tooltip inside the Guild UI to more clearly explain their function and rules. The new information can be found under the "Members" tab.

Husbandry

In response to player feedback and to bring more transparency to the Husbandry Profession, we’ve made important improvements to how animal planting times are displayed.

Previously, the timers shown for Butchering and Gathering only reflected the cooldowns for those actions, excluding the maturing time — which was only mentioned in the animal’s description prior to planting. This often led to confusion and unexpected delays, especially for players setting up pens like the Small Goat Pen.

To address this, we've updated the descriptions of all animals eligible for both Butchering and Gathering. They now clearly indicate the cooldown between Gathering activities, and the timers shown under Butchering and Gathering will now accurately reflect the full time required before each action becomes available.

Dynamic Events

We’ve updated the design and functionality of several older events to bring them in line with newer standards and improve the overall gameplay experience. The following events have been adjusted:

Picky Eaters

  • Introduced a cooldown between activations to improve pacing and provide a more consistent experience.
  • Rebalanced the event’s trigger chance to enhance gameplay flow.

Aggressive Preservation

  • Set the event duration to 10 minutes.
  • Updated the cooldown between activations.
  • Updated spawn locations and set all event creatures to Level 50.
  • Added an 8-second delay at the start of Task 2 to provide a buffer before creature spawns.
  • Adjusted the duration for which Picky Eaters is disabled after this event is activated.
  • Adjusted contribution, experience, and silver rewards to align with the new creature level.
  • Reduced the cooldown reduction applied to Picky Eaters after completing this event.

A Muddy Catch

  • Added a cooldown between activations.
  • Adjusted the chance to trigger A Bad Hookup after completing this event.
  • Updated the Perfect Sporecap requirement to match Picky Eaters, requiring only 1 for the entire event.

A Bad Hookup

  • Set the event duration to 15 minutes.
  • Updated the cooldown between activations.
  • Added a rule to reduce A Muddy Catch’s cooldown when A Bad Hookup is completed.
  • Adjusted the duration for which A Muddy Catch is disabled after this event is activated.

Children of the Damned

  • Significantly lowered the trigger requirements, making the event easier to activate based on player feedback.

Additionally, we're updating the Fame rewards from Events to create a more rewarding and gradual progression system. These changes aim to better reflect the increasing challenge of higher-level content and provide greater incentives for those who rise to the occasion.

  • Fame tiers based on Event level have been expanded from 4 → 7.
  • Fame rewards at lower-level events have been slightly reduced to encourage progression.
  • Fame rewards at higher-level events have been significantly increased, making end-game content more rewarding.

Push further, and earn the recognition you deserve!

  • Fixed an issue where parties were not functioning as intended during Aether Rift Duos. Party mechanics should now work correctly, ensuring a smoother co-op experience!
