Now, let’s dive into the Treasures Below Update Notes and uncover all the exciting new features waiting for you!

The Web3 gaming landscape is evolving at rapid speeds, and those who are scared to change, will crumble. We have always been open to change, ready to test different models as the landscape shifts, and we feel it’s time to lean into a more modern and stronger model. After months of careful analysis, we've identified several areas where the $QUEST Ecosystem needed fundamental improvements.

The data was clear: our $QUEST 1.0 Ecosystem wasn't delivering the long-term value accrual to our holders and most committed Adventurers, those supporting the $QUEST Ecosystem the most, and instead going heavily into the hands of those who only looked to max-extract, and ultimately hurting every Adventurer and Loyal $QUEST Ecosystem supporter. While no doubt, some of these max-extractors may not like changes coming, we have decided we are fine with that. It’s time we take care of those that are behind us.

We've studied the most successful in the space, analyzed player behavior patterns, and have gone through dozens of different concepts, designs and iterations. The result? A complete transformation of the $QUEST Ecosystem. The $QUEST 2.0 Ecosystem is a data-driven rework designed to reward loyalty, skill, and long-term commitment while creating genuine value for every $QUEST holder. We've implemented five core pillars to the $QUEST 2.0 Ecosystem!

Pillar 1: Shift from Play-to-Earn to Skill-to-Earn

We are making a revolutionary change to how the $QUEST Ecosystem rewards its most dedicated players and supporters. $QUEST 2.0 represents a massive shift toward rewarding players who actively support the ecosystem, play the game consistently, and care about the long-term success of RavenQuest and the $QUEST Ecosystem. Our rewards will now flow heavier to the most dedicated players — active collectors, skilled competitors, and those who support the ecosystem rather than exploit it. While some changes are coming in on the Treasures Below update, the new larger Fame reward pool, with a significantly heavier shift in rewards to true Adventurers, will come in Patch 1.1.1 (shortly after Treasure’s Below release).

Web3 is changing, and we are prepared to rapidly change with it. With the Treasures Below launch, we are introducing 4 new Leaderboards that will distribute over 3 million $QUEST over the next 30 days across Expeditions, Ranked Arena, and to the top 10 Naturalist & Ballistics Adventurers in the first 14 days of the expansion:

  • Expeditions Leaderboard — Prove your strength in Expeditions! Starting from the second week, players will compete for their place on the Expeditions Leaderboard, with a massive 700,000 $QUEST distributed weekly for the first 4 weeks. Don’t miss your chance to rise to the top and claim your share of the rewards!
  • Arena Leaderboard — Sharpen your skills and fight your way through the Arena! Compete in Season 1 and secure your spot on the Arena Leaderboard to earn from the 300,000 $QUEST reward pool. Only the strongest will prevail — will you be among them?
  • Ballistics Leaderboard — For 14 days, the Ballistics Leaderboard will track the top sharpshooters, with 100,000 $QUEST rewards for the top 10 players. Step up, take your shot, and secure your prize!
  • Naturalist Leaderboard — Over 14 days, the best Naturalists will rise through the ranks to claim their spot on the Leaderboard. With 100,000 $QUEST for the top 10 players, this is your chance to turn wisdom into rewards!
  • Guild Personal MMR Leaderboard — The Guild Personal MMR is a new Leaderboard that highlights each member’s individual skill rating within their guild. It’s a way to measure your personal impact and contribution, showing how you stack up compared to your fellow guildmates!

The first Expedition Leaderboard will begin on August 22nd, giving you time until then to explore and understand this new roguelike dungeon system (and giving us a chance for some tweaks and balance adjustments based on data before the first Leaderboard begins). The Expedition Leaderboard will reset weekly with rewards.

Pillar 2: The Ultimate $QUEST Utility

We've massively increased the sinks and usages for $QUEST throughout the in-game experience. We are a Web3 game, and we believe $QUEST should be utilized throughout the game experience — not just as an occasional situation, but as an integral part of enhancing your daily adventures and increasing the value and usage of $QUEST. New $QUEST Sinks

  • Warforging, Infusion, and Augmenting — Upgrade your gear with $QUEST instead of Silver!
  • Marketplace Flexibility — Use $QUEST to purchase any Silver-listed items!
  • Thaw Festival — Obtain exclusive seasonal NFT’s through gameplay or with $QUEST!
  • Expedition Mastery — Reroll Afflictions, Songs, and revive during your runs!
  • Gemstone Upgrades — The ultimate progression system powered entirely with $QUEST!
  • QUEST Cores — Obtain these from the Munk Taskmaster (located right next to the Hungry Munk in Ravencrest) for unique end-game recipes!
  • Mass Collect — Gather all your harvestable resources instantly with just one click! Spend less time clicking and more time adventuring!

Virtually every major system now offers $QUEST integration as an option, giving you unprecedented control over your adventure while creating consistent organic demand and usage for $QUEST.

Pillar 3: Sustainable Revenue & Buybacks

We have seen Web3 ecosystems change heavily in recent months, with many moving towards Revenue > Buyback & Deflationary structures for stronger long-term value accrual, which are significantly more accessible to users. Hyperliquid has done an incredible job with this approach, and we see the need for a strong change, following the best examples in the space with this transformation.

We are implementing a traditional buyback & burn structure with a sustainable revenue model. While we previously removed traditional monetization options based on community input, the reality showed us a 60% decrease in average revenue with only a 5% increase in $QUEST purchases. The truth is, we have a strong userbase of GAMERS first — players who want to support and spend but find navigating DEX or even CEX platforms challenging.

We are introducing 2 exclusive Coinbase purchase options: the new Expansion RavenPacks and Season 2 Lucky Chests, as well as allowing obtaining Lucky Coins in the Xsolla Store. This allows us to generate sustainable revenue that feeds directly into our buyback & burn structure, creating constant upward pressure on $QUEST as well as buybacks of Ecosystem NFTs (with a strong focus on Land).

Pillar 4: Value Accrual at the Core

Up to this point, $QUEST hasn’t had a true reason to hold for value accrual. There were no staking rewards, and neither were deflationary. This changes NOW. Both Land & $QUEST will now be deflationary assets, creating real value for long-term holders and believers in the ecosystem.

The Hungry Munk you all know and love will now be consuming revenue from the newly introduced revenue streams, utilizing it to buy up RavenQuest Ecosystem NFTs & $QUEST token, creating constant buying pressure and reducing their total supplies, leading to long-term value accrual.

More details about the Hungry Munks consumption strategies & possibly him allowing the most loyal Adventurers to partake in suggesting what he should focus on consuming coming on August 27th.

Pillar 5: 100% of Treasury $QUEST burned or Provided as Rewards - Never Sold

We are officially making a commitment that we will NEVER sell a single $QUEST from the Treasury — 100% will be burned or provided as Landowner & Staking rewards.

While other projects dump their treasuries on their communities, we are taking the opposite approach. Every single $QUEST token in our treasury exists for one purpose: to create value for YOU. Whether through token supply burns, directly increasing the scarcity of $QUEST longterm by reducing the total supply of $QUEST, or direct rewards to our most dedicated Landowners and stakers, our treasury works exclusively in your favor.

This commitment represents the foundation that the $QUEST 2.0 Ecosystem is built upon. Your $QUEST isn't competing against treasury dumps — it's supported by treasury burns. This is how we ensure that every $QUEST you hold, earn, and stake maintains and grows its value over time.

Land & $QUEST Staking — With over $100,000 in Rewards

But wait — there's more! We're currently in the final stages of our official Staking System, and it's going to be absolutely game-changing for every $QUEST and Land holder. Thanks to the generous support of Immutable, we will be launching the staking system soon with a massive $100,000 base pool of $IMX, with the pool continuing to grow from $QUEST spent in-game and through buy-backs, creating a self-sustaining reward ecosystem that gets stronger with every transaction.

The Staking system will allow $QUEST staking for incredible rewards, but that's not all — we are also bringing Land Staking! This brings even more compelling reasons to own a bigger piece of RavenQuest, as your Land becomes not just a strategic asset, but a passive income generator. We'll also be bringing some unique benefits to Land & $QUEST stakers that we can't wait to reveal 😉

The staking system will start with solid fundamentals and continue to be built out further, providing even larger rewards to those most loyal in the $QUEST Ecosystem. This is just the beginning: as our community grows and our revenue increases, so too will the rewards for our most dedicated supporters who choose to stake their faith in RavenQuest's future!

Guild Crests & Guild Renown

But that's not all! Following community feedback, we’ve reworked the Guild Crests / Guild Fame System to make it more straightforward and give each member’s efforts a greater personal impact!

Previously, Guild Fame was calculated as the combined total of all members who owned a Guild Crest. This total contributed to the shared Guild $QUEST Pool, which distributed $QUEST rewards based on the Guild’s share in the pool.

From now on, Guild Members with Guild Crests will no longer contribute Fame to their Guild, but Renown instead. The Guild’s total Renown, displayed in the Guild Panel just as Fame was before, will be used to calculate the Guild Fame Multiplier.

In the Fame Counter UI, the World Multiplier has been replaced with the Guild Multiplier, set at 5% of the combined Renown from all Guild Members with Guild Crests. This value is additive to your personal Renown Multiplier. For example, if you have ×5 from your Renown Multiplier and ×2 from your Guild Multiplier, you would end up with ×7 Fame gains. Additional bonuses apply based on rank:

  • All Guild Members with a Crest receive 5% of the Guild’s total Renown as a Fame Multiplier.
  • Guild Leaders gain an additional 20%.
  • Guild Vice-Leaders gain an additional 10%.

Note: The Guild Renown Multiplier cannot exceed your existing personal Renown Multiplier.

Additionally, to support this change, the old Guild Fame $QUEST Pool is being merged into the standard Fame QUEST Pool, effectively doubling its size.

This change will make it more rewarding to grow your Guild and gather more members with Crests, as each one now has a direct impact on the benefits your Guild provides to its members!

Tradepack Enhancers

Further to our change in philosophy, we are ensuring that stronger rewards flow to those loyal to the $QUEST Ecosystem — players who aren't just looking to maximize extraction, hurting everyone else who doesn't, but who actually care about the long-term success of what we're building here together.

We've seen too many Web3 projects get drained by mercenary participants who contribute nothing while taking everything for themselves. That ends now. These changes are designed to identify, celebrate, and stronger reward the Adventurers who believe in RavenQuest's vision and actively contribute to the $QUEST Ecosystem and community.

This philosophy will be further followed with additional changes coming to the new Fame reward pool in Patch 1.1.1 (shortly after Treasure’s Below release).

  • Doubled the chance to receive a Tradepack Enhancer when spending $QUEST.
  • Increased the maximum charge limit of Tradepack Enhancers from 20 → 100.

(Future) Increased Value to Renown & Landowners

Renown reflects upon RavenQuest's top supporters. While it has many benefits in-game, these benefits are not fully realized due to the way the Fame Pool currently works. Right now, the Fame pool rewards every single Adventurer, such a small amount, that Renown is not even worth it, nor does anyone get a compelling amount of rewards... We are changing that. The new Fame reward pool coming in Patch 1.1.1 (shortly after Treasure’s Below release), will bring stronger progression rewards to all Adventurers based on their Fame, with the top 30% of Adventurers receiving significantly increased rewards, with a significantly heavier weight to the top of this new Fame leaderboard.

(Future) Reduced Death Debt for Landowners & Renown

Additionally with Patch 1.1.1, we are bringing increased value to Land & Renown through reduced Death Debt.

Landowners will receive 20% reduced Death Debt, just for having Land in RavenQuest. Additionally, Adventurers will now receive 1% reduced Death Debt for every 500 Renown they have, up to a 50% total Death Debt reduction between both sources.

With the release of Treasures Below, we are introducing a new catch-up mechanic to help newer and returning players reach higher levels faster, so they can dive into the exciting endgame content arriving with this expansion. This means more Adventurers ready to join battles, fill groups, heat up the market, and bring even more life to RavenQuest!

Upon reaching Legacy Level 20, players will now receive the Book of Heroism (Aspiring Hero Effect) through their North Star Quest.

Aspiring Hero Effect:

  • Increases all Experience (except Profession) gained from Hunting, Crafting, and Gathering by 100% until Legacy Level 60.

This powerful boost will also be granted retroactively to players who had already reached Legacy Level 20 before the update and will help players gain faster access to new systems like the Arena and Expeditions. Whether you are just starting out or making a return, now’s the perfect time to jump back in and start climbing the Leaderboards. We’re excited to see the new alliances — and rivalries — that emerge!

The central piece of the Treasures Below update is, of course, Expeditions! This roguelike dungeon system with procedurally generated paths is something the community has been requesting in one form or another almost since the launch of RavenQuest itself. The new content coming even inspired the name of this update, from Gemstones, unique Recipes and Expedition Jewels to dangerous bosses and trap-filled puzzle chambers found deep below during Expeditions.

Expeditions have been built up to give as much control to the player as possible in determining how difficult and rewarding their run will be. Whenever starting a run, players will select 2 Keys of randomized rarities that will be used to open their corresponding treasure chests, but also empowers the creatures they will encounter via Afflictions attached to the Keys.

The Munk Seeker will provide 1 Munk Song that will bolster morale and aid players in battle, and the more experienced a player becomes, the most songs they will unlock as their complete Expeditions. And, of course, with higher tier songs, their Expedition run will be dramatically impacted!

During Expeditions, players will encounter various puzzles that put their Crafting and Gathering skills to the test. Various Profession Checks may be encountered along your route, with increasing difficulty levels, however successfully resolving them will net powerful Munk Songs and sometimes access to additional rewards! Although the Profession Checks are challenging, cunning players can prepare for these challenges by bringing Expedition Toolboxes that will allow clearing their corresponding Profession checks.

Each Expedition can only be concluded once the boss of that run has been vanquished. In total, 5 brand new bosses were created to guard the rewards that all players crave for themselves. Each of these champions has their own style of combat, strengths and weaknesses. Keep an eye out for Valoric the Oathbreaker, Varn'korr Deadhand, Niraxus the Profane, Draka the Silent and Rokir Cinderskull.

With Expeditions, endless replayability has been our focus and this first iteration is only the beginning. Check out the full breakdown of possibilities by reading the Expeditions DevBlog here!

With the opening of Expeditions, we are thrilled to introduce Gemstones — powerful new items that significantly enhance your character's potential and progression!

What Are Gemstones?

Gemstones are rare, precious stones that can only be obtained inside Expeditions, and they play a crucial role in increasing your character's power level. To get a clearer understanding as to why Gemstones are important, let's go over the benefits they provide. Gemstones are split into 3 different shapes and 4 categories for a total of 12 unique effects!

Rubies

  • Ruby of Devastation — Increases Impact (Critical Damage)
  • Ruby of Focus — Increases Precision (Critical Hit)
  • Ruby of Brutality — Increases Weapon Power

Emeralds

  • Emerald of Grace — Increases Healing Power
  • Emerald of Clarity — Increases Global Cooldown Reduction
  • Emerald of Pursuit — Increases Combat Movement Speed

Sapphires

  • Sapphire of Quickening — Increases Attack Speed
  • Sapphire of Force — Increases Spell Power
  • Sapphire of Meditation — Reduced Casting Time

Topazes

  • Topaz of Fortitude — Increases Weapon Defense
  • Topaz of Warding — Increases Spell Defense
  • Topaz of Perfection — Increases all Primary Attributes (Str, Dex, Vit, Int, Wis)

How to Equip Gemstones

To insert Gemstones into your items, players can head over to the Infusions UI — now updated with a fresh new look! There, they will find options to Insert, Upgrade, and Remove Gemstones. While we know most are eager to dive into the upgrading process, let’s first cover the basics of inserting and removing them:

  • Gemstones can only be inserted into Rings, Amulets, and Equipment for a total of 7 slots across all your items. Weapons and Off-Hands do not hold Gemstones and no more than 2 of the same Gemstone can be equipped at the same time.
  • Once a Gemstone is inserted into an item, that item increases the minimum Legacy Level required to equip it to 60, unless the minimum required Level is already higher.
  • A Gemstone can be inserted into any item absolutely free and cannot fail. Likewise, removing is free of charge and you will always receive back the Gemstone that is inserted into your item.

Illustrative image. Numbers shown are not final.

Upgrading Gemstones

With the basics out of the way, let’s dive into upgrading — and what it actually means. Gemstones come in 7 Tiers, but within Expeditions, only Tier 1 Gemstones can be found, and upgrades are never guaranteed. That means that players need to consider several factors carefully before attempting an upgrade:

  • Color and shape matter. Using Gemstones with the same color and shape as your target offers the highest chance of success. Gemstones with the same color but different shape provide a moderate chance, while those with different colors offer the lowest success rate—but also the greatest flexibility for future use.
  • Tier matching is key. As you aim to upgrade to higher Tiers, you’ll need higher Tier materials to match. The better your match, the better your odds.
  • Marketplace potential. While Gemstones are rare and challenging to acquire, they’re not Soulbound — which means they can be freely traded or sold in the Marketplace.

One of the most important aspects of Gemstones is their direct connection to $QUEST. Upgrading a Gemstone always costs $QUEST, and the higher your chance of success, the more $QUEST it will require. This makes them the first progression system fully tied to this key currency.

If this all sounds a bit overwhelming, don’t worry — there’s a powerful tool available for those aiming high. By speaking to the Munk Intendant (an Expeditions-related NPC), players can purchase Gem Conduits in exchange for Lucky Coins. These valuable items significantly boost your chance of upgrading a selected Gemstone.

Gem Conduits

Although Gemstones only require a single Gemstone as Upgrade Material, the higher the Tier of the target Gemstone, the more difficult it will be to complete an upgrade. While using high Tier Gemstones can help, Gem Conduits will increase the existing chance of success by 50%!

While using Gem Conduits to increase your success chance does not raise the $QUEST cost of the upgrade, the amount of Conduits required increases based on the Tier of the Upgrade Material, so you decide on how much to invest into any give upgrade.

Expedition Bonus & Luck

Additionally, as a core new progression mechanic, Gemstones provide valuable power boosts in all gameplay scenarios, but their true potential shines brightest within Expeditions. There, their stat bonuses are amplified by 50%, and they unlock a special effect unique to Expeditions: Luck.

Luck is a core element of the Expeditions System. The higher your Luck, the greater your chances of discovering Shiny Keys during Expeditions. Shiny Keys are especially valuable, as they double the amount of Jewels and Fame earned per run, directly impacting your $QUEST rewards and your position on the Leaderboard. They also grant an extra reward roll from the chest they are used on.

While inside an Expedition, your current Luck value is always visible on screen. To increase Luck, you will need to socket Gemstones into your equipment and have that equipment equipped during the run. Both the quantity and tier of Gemstones matter — the more and the higher their tier, the better your chances of finding a Shiny Key.

This creates a rewarding loop for players who continually upgrade their gear and push for higher-grade Gemstones while running Expeditions. Keep in mind, though, that Gemstones only start providing Luck bonuses once they’ve been upgraded to at least Tier 2. For example, even with seven Tier 1 Gemstones equipped, your Luck won’t increase. On the other hand, a Tier 7 Gemstone is 30× more effective than a Tier 2 in boosting Luck, so always bring your best along for the journey!

While Treasures Below shines a spotlight on Expeditions and PvE content, this update also introduces one of the most requested PvP features to date — the Arena. Unlike Aether Rifts, which use equalized stats to level the playing field, the Arena is a no-holds-barred 2v2 battleground where your real build, gear, and strategy matter. No scaling, no presets — just you, your partner, and your raw power. Whether you are teaming up with a friend or queuing solo, the Arena uses a full MMR-based system to ensure competitive, rewarding matches across all skill levels.

Arena matches take place at set times each day and follow a best-of-three format across five unique maps, each with their own visual and musical identity. Fame is earned win or lose, but victory brings significantly greater rewards — especially as your MMR climbs. And for those aiming to stand out, climbing the seasonal Arena Leaderboard will reward $QUEST and unlock exclusive Adornments, giving PvP players a new way to show off their dominance.

The launch of the Arena marks a new chapter for competitive gameplay in RavenQuest, finally offering a space where individual skill and character mastery can take center stage. We can’t wait to see which duos rise to the top — and what new playstyles emerge from this high-stakes format!

Read the full breakdown in our Arena DevBlog here!

We’ve already touched on Lucky Coins a few times, but now it’s time to dive deeper into their role in Treasures Below! As mentioned, Lucky Coins is a new and special currency that is directly tied to both Gemstone upgrading and Expedition entries through the Munk Intendent, offering Gem Conduit Bundles for the former and Munk Snack Bundles for the latter.

But Lucky Coins aren’t just for those chasing maximum power. They are also a must-have for players who love character customization, as they are the only way to obtain Cosmetic Outfits outside of the existing in-game outfits unlocked through NPCs. With Lucky Coins, you can:

  • Unlock new Cosmetic Outfits and build your Renown;
  • Purchase Gem Conduits (Munk Intendant Shop) to boost Gemstone Upgrade chances;
  • Purchase Munk Snacks (Munk Intendant Shop) to access Expeditions multiple times!

While Lucky Coins have multiple purposes, make no mistake that they will be key in separating the real competitors from the rest of the crowd. The more Lucky Coins a player possesses, the more entries into Expeditions and Gem Conduits they can afford, the faster they can upgrade their gear and the sooner they become capable of conquering more and more rewarding Expeditions, which means they recover most Jewels and rise to the top of the Leaderboard!

Get Lucky Coins Now!

Lucky Coins are displayed in the The Munk Shop, and can be obtained from burning Cosmetics, opening Lucky Chests or directly through our Store (link above)! At first, only Cosmetics from Lucky Chests Season 2 are available for burning.

This update does not affect any Standard Packs you already own — they will remain in your inventory and ready for you to open them!

We are excited to welcome two brand-new Archetypes to RavenQuest: Naturalist and Ballistics! Their arrival greatly expands the number of possible class combinations (60 new classes!), offering fresh strategies and playstyles for every adventurer.

Between them, these Archetypes bring 48 new RavenCards, 24 new active skills, 12 new passive skills and 2 new Legacy skills!

Each Archetype has already received a dedicated DevBlog detailing its core strengths, weaknesses, and unique gameplay approach. If you haven’t yet, be sure to check them out before diving in:

Discover more about Ballistics here — or more about Naturalist here!

Both Archetypes also bring two unique weapon combinations with them!

Dual Pistols (Ballistics)

The weapon skill for the pistols is intended to create openings and exploit weak points on opponents for maximum punishment.

  • Skill Name: Precise Aim
  • Description: Target your enemy's weak points. Each critical hit applies a 25% slow on your target for 2 seconds. Precise Aim lasts for 8 seconds and the slow can be re-applied on each successive critical hit during this time.
  • Warforged Skill: For the next 8 seconds, all your critical hits reduce your target's Weapon Defense by 25% for 4 seconds. New stacks refresh the duration.

Blunderbuss (Ballistics)

The large firearm is mainly intended to spread damage around the player and give them a window to create room between themselves and enemies that are applying pressure up close.

  • Skill Name: Boomstick Blast
  • Description: Fire a smoke shot that deals 85% Weapon Power damage to all targets in a small area in front of the caster. This shot also increases the caster's Movement Speed by 25% for 2 seconds.
  • Warforged Skill: A heavy live round is loaded that targets a medium sized area, dealing 165% Weapon power damage, it also applies a Snare for 1 second to all affected targets.

Dual Bracers (Naturalist)

The bracers break down magical defenses and inflict instant as well as periodic damage to wear down and frighten mages into submission.

  • Skill Name: Anti-Magic Wave
  • Description: Punches a small area in the targeted direction, dealing 180% Spell Power damage and marking the affected targets. For the duration of the mark, affected targets have their Spell Defense reduced by 5% for 6 seconds.
  • Warforged Skill: You deliver a more powerful punch targeting the same area and dealing an additional 60% Spell Power damage and applying a damage over time effect that deals 15% Spell Power damage every second, for 6 seconds and applies the Fear condition to all affected targets for 1 second.

The latest member of the arsenal is the Totem, a new off-hand item designed to be a powerful boon for healers and support-oriented players, with Healing Power as its core stat.

Each weapon type in RavenQuest has its own purpose, and their Warforged versions push those strengths even further. Whether you are looking to punish spellcasters, keep your distance from enemies, or shred defenses for maximum damage, the new additions have you covered!

Crafting the New Weapons

The recipes for these weapons will be spread across Alchemy and Carpentry:

  • Totems — Carpentry
  • Bracers — Alchemy
  • Pistols — Alchemy
  • Blunderbusses — Alchemy

You might be wondering why Blacksmithing isn’t involved in crafting these weapons. While Blacksmithing already offers a wide arsenal, magical weapons like Bracers and gunpowder-based firearms naturally belong to Alchemy due to their specialized crafting processes. Totems, being primarily wooden constructs, fit squarely into Carpentry.

We can’t wait to see the skill combinations you wll create and how these new weapons will shake up both the PvP and PvE meta!

New Cosmetics Unlocked

We are happy to announce the introduction of 78 new Cosmetic Addons & Effects to the game! Players can now use Lucky Coins to purchase these exclusive Outfit Cosmetics for their characters directly through the Outfits & Effects tabs (Character window), further increasing their Renown.

These Outfits are unique visual variations of existing in-game outfits, each with its own twist — perfect for standing out while still reflecting your progression. Check the available items and prices:

  • Tier 3 Addon30 Lucky Coins
  • Tier 4 Addon45 Lucky Coins
  • Tier 5 Addon65 Lucky Coins
  • War Rider Teleport  — 125 Lucky Coins
  • Kingmaker Weapon Shine — 300 Lucky Coins

Cosmetics Burning

Cosmetic Burning is a new mechanic accessible through the Ascendable Inventory (formerly known as the Withdrawable Inventory). It allows players to permanently burn select Cosmetics in exchange for Lucky Coins!

Currently, only Ascendable Cosmetics are eligible for burning, and for the first few weeks after launch, only Cosmetics obtained from Lucky Chests will be burnable. Once burned, the Cosmetic is permanently removed from your account, and Lucky Coins are awarded in return.

This system gives players more control over duplicate or unwanted cosmetics, turning them into currency that can be spent on items of their choice!

We are happy to announce a long-requested quality-of-life feature: Mass Collect — now available on all Lands!

Mass Collect allows players to gather all available resources from their Land in one click, in exchange for a small amount of $QUEST (the cost scales based on the number of harvestable tiles). This new system will significantly streamline your farming experience, giving more time to explore the world and adventure with friends!

Husbandry specialists — fear not! When Mass Collecting, you will be prompted to choose between prioritizing Butchering or Gathering from your animals, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

To support the feature, a Mass Collect button was added to the House Edit Mode UI for all players, and another one was added to the Land Tracker, this one available exclusively for Patrons. The buttons will become available only when there are resources ready to be collected.

The Treasures Below Expansion introduces a brand-new cosmetic reward system for competitive players: Adornments. These eye-catching decorations let you showcase your achievements in a way that outshines even the rarest titles. Adornments appear around your Health, Mana, and Aether bars, and are visible to other players — a clear badge of honor proving your standing on the Leaderboards and your ranking against everyone else on the server.

Adornments come in 5 distinct tiers, determined by your position on the official Leaderboards. The higher your placement, the higher the tier you unlock. The coveted Tier 5 Adornments are typically reserved for only the very top (sometimes a single player, or the top 10), depending on the Leaderboard. They are dynamic, meaning if you drop out of your tier’s ranking range, you will lose access to that Adornment. This keeps competition fierce and ensures players must maintain their position to stay in the spotlight.

Adornments are granted daily after each server reboot and are available from multiple Leaderboards, including:

  • Legacy Level
  • Renown
  • Lucky Chests
  • Arena
  • Guild Wars
  • Aether Rifts
  • Expeditions

Players can easily toggle them on/off in the Character Customization window, and they can also be fully disabled via Settings (O) → Windows → Adornments.

We can’t wait to watch the competition heat up as players clash for top rankings and show off their hard-earned Adornments in style!

Lucky Chests are mystical treasures infused with the ever-shifting magic of Ravencrest. Whispers tell of ancient collectors who once sealed powerful relics within, ensuring that only the luckiest adventurers could claim them. As time passes, the contents of these chests may change—some treasures fading into legend, while new and exciting rewards take their place.

We have hand-selected some epic cosmetics to celebrate the launch of the Lucky Chests Season 2. Here is what you can find inside them:

Lucky Chests can be obtained through your Account Panel, where you can claim and open them.  Once pulled, rewards are automatically sent to your character and can be found in your inventories within minutes.

Get Lucky Chests from Season 2 Now!

But the magic from Lucky Chests doesn’t stop there! All the rewards from the Chests also provide Renown, which increases accordingly with the rarity of the reward. The higher the rarity of the reward you are pulling, the higher the amount of Renown it will give to you! Here’s a breakdown of how much Renown each rarity provides:

  • Rare ー 100 Renown
  • Arcane ー 250 Renown
  • Mythic ー 400 Renown

Ravencrest has burst to life with color, warmth, and the mischievous energy of the Thaw Festival! This seasonal event brings the spirit of renewal and the clash of ancient rivalries. As the seasons shift, the whimsical but capricious Falren courts of Winter and Spring are locked in a fierce struggle for control over the cycle.

Lashinus, the Champion of Winter, seeks to extend his icy dominion over the land. But fear not: the radiant Kanis, Champion of Spring, has risen to rally Adventurers under the banners of sunshine, growth, and new beginnings.

At the heart of the Thaw Festival are the blossoming Spring Bulbs, magical seeds that fuel the event’s every moment. By protecting, rescuing, and delivering these bulbs to Kanis, Adventurers will unlock the full rewards of the season.

A new Story Quest, “Warm Up Time”, available to all Adventurers Legacy Level 15+, begins at the event hub in southern Ravencrest.

Event Highlights

  • 7 Dynamic Events battling Lashinus’s forces and rescuing Spring Bulbs, spanning level ranges 15 to 75.
  • Lashinus, the fearsome Champion of Winter, serves as the boss of these Events.
  • Meet Lashin creatures, Lashinus’s loyal minions, as challenging event foes.
  • The vibrant Kanis and their helpful plant allies await you in the Ravencrest event hub.

Spring Bulbs

Participate in Dynamic Events defending the Spring Bulbs from Lashinus and his minions, complete Adventurer’s Board Tasks and run Expeditions during the event period to get Spring Bulbs!

Additionally, you can head to the new Seasonal Events category to find a bundle of 100 Spring Bulbs available for purchase with either RavenCoins or $QUEST. This bundle can be bought up to three times per day, so be sure to stay active in the event to maximize your rewards!

You can bring your collected Spring Bulbs to Kanis in Ravencrest to exchange them for a variety of unique and exciting rewards, including:

  • Springcake (Unique Consumable)
  • Grow-a-Plant (Unique Trinket)
  • Spring Sun, Winter Cleaver, and Spring Blossom (House Decorations)

Each cosmetic item is also a Renown-granting NFT, so don’t miss your chance to expand your collection!

$QUEST Burn: A Community Celebration

The most thrilling part of this event is the Token Burn: for every Spring Bulb purchased or earned through gameplay, we will burn 1 $QUEST from our treasury, up to a total of 1,000,000 $QUEST tokens by the end of the Thaw Festival.

Track the community’s collective progress with a live counter inside the RavenStore, showing how many Spring Bulbs have been gathered across all activities: Dynamic Events, Adventurer’s Board Tasks, Expeditions, and RavenStore purchases alike!

Good luck to all Adventurers, and let’s come together to celebrate the defeat of Lashinus with a spectacular bonfire and a monumental 1,000,000 $QUEST burned at the festival’s close!

Professions are already getting a major quality-of-life boost with the Mass Collect feature — but we’re not stopping there! The Treasures Below Expansion will also introduce 2×2 Herbalism assets, modernizing the profession and making gathering smoother than ever.

Our dedicated Fishers are also in for a treat, with several new species and materials tied to progression, adding more depth to Ocean content.

As always, our work on Professions is never finished, and we look forward to hearing your feedback so we can keep refining and expanding every part of these systems.

Fishing

  • Added 9 new Salt Water fish: Cod, Blue Carp, Eelfish, Pufferfish, Green Carp, Abyssal Angler, Coelacanth, Marlin, and Giant Squid.
  • Catching Ocean and Shoreline Fish is no longer based on a fixed chance. Now, for every Fishing Level above 10, players gain an increased chance to catch Ocean Fish. At the highest levels, experienced fishers will be up to 5 times more likely to catch Ocean Fish over Shoreline Fish.
  • To smooth out the Fishing experience and improve accessibility to higher-tier catches, we've updated the Fishing level requirements for several fishes:
    • Rainbow Flounder ー From 51 → 49.
    • Gromper ー From 54 → 51.
    • Tiger Shark ー From 60 → 55.
  • Increased the effectiveness of Fishing Nets in reducing the time it takes for a fish to bite:
    • Small Fishing Net ー From 5% → 10%.
    • Medium Fishing Net ー From 10% → 15%.
    • Large Fishing Net ー From 20% → 30%.

To ensure a smooth and consistent progression, we've also adjusted the level requirements for all existing Salt Water fish. These changes aim to better align catchable fish with player level, creating a more rewarding fishing experience.

In addition, the materials provided by Salt Water fish have been updated to reflect these level changes and maintain proper accessibility across tiers. As an example, a rare material named Abyssal Pearl is now obtainable from high-level fish and will be a key component in crafting the upcoming Tier 3 Ship Cabins. Keep a close eye on your haul — you might reel in something truly valuable!

Herbalism

Treasures Below introduces a major improvement to Herbalism: new 2x2-sized Herbalism Crops. These larger crops are designed to significantly increase efficiency and output for Herbalists. To accommodate these new additions, we've adjusted the level requirements of most existing crops to ensure a smooth progression. The only crops not affected by these changes are the Earthy Mushroom and Rohna Mint.

Miscellaneous

Added unique crafting recipes to Alchemy, Carpentry, Blacksmithing, Weaving and Cooking that can be obtained in Expeditions and allow bypassing Profession Checks.

To match the new challenges and progression opportunities brought with the Expansion, we are introducing new High Level Respawn areas to Ostera. New hunts for Levels +75, +80 and +85 are to be found in this easternmost region. Expect to face some familiar enemies, but also be ready for many new members of existing creature families, mainly Morningstars, Poisonpetals, Trunks, and the expanded Tiger Bugs creatures! All these new monsters and opponents all come with skills and tricks that will put your newfound powers to the test!

Trunks Spawn at Woodman's Folly — Level 82-88

The surrounding area was once a dense forest, however the construction of Truelight Tower and other outposts by the Morningstars demanded ever greater volumes of lumber. As the forest was forced back with axes and saws, the spirits of the woods became enraged and brought the trunks of dead trees to life. The greatest effect took hold underground where strange warped versions of Trunks would wait in ambush to attack the Morningstar Foresters.

New Trunk Family Creaures

  • Thousand-Eyes Trunk — Experienced adventurers know to keep an eye out when traveling the wilds, and the Thousand-Eyes Trunk preys on those who overlook that teaching. What seems like a tranquil resting spot near a lone dead tree can turn to chaos in an instant, when its countless eyes snap open, the madness begins.
  • Petrified Trunk — Folktales in forest regions often talk of the spirits dwelling in ancient woodlands, and many stories tell of how vengeful they can be when crossed, even holding grudges for centuries. The force animating Petrified Trunks must be extremely powerful, wrathful, or both.
  • Deadbark Trunk — When the wood and bark that surrounds a Trunk has fully decayed and on the verge of rotting away, on rare occasions the spirit that animates it becomes empowered by this presence of death and decay. The rot transforms them into visible green eldritch flames that are emitted from every opening. Although the fires themselves are cold to the touch, few live to tell of their experiences.
  • Vinewood Trunk — Some spirits reinvigorate dead Trunks to grow once more and this effect is taken to the extreme in the Vinewood Trunk. The longer these Trunks remain animated the more overgrown with thorns and messy branches they become. Usually they emit a pleasant fruity aroma that draws in unsuspecting people, however this alluring smell disguises the rot and disease that lies at the core of the Trunk and courses through its undead vines. A single prick is all it takes to take down even a fully grown Warhog.

Crowmaiden Spawn in the Festering Mire — Level 82-87

While there are new discoveries to be made on Ostera, some old threats are present here just as on the mainland. The Crowmaidens of the Festering Mire are one such danger, and even though for now their influence is contained to a small area in the south-west, many are fearful that the deep tunnels below ground may spread their corruption and rot to the rest of Ostera.

New Crowmaiden Family Creatures

  • Rotting Hag — Not even one drop of humanity is left in the twisted being that is the Rotting Hag. This is the final stage for those damned with enough magical energy to become a target of the Crowmaidens, but too little of it to be of use to the coven. Cursed to roam the wilds, eternally rotting away, they lose any trace of their old self, their minds become an ever-hungering void of feral instincts, where madness reigns and is the only driving force to this wretched creature’s actions.
  • Voidlight Hag — These wicked creatures are in constant communion with the eldritch forces lurking beyond the veil of sanity, carrying out their orders with gleeful malice. In the putrid reaches of the world, where light hardly ever touches the festering ground, cryptic chants and incantations raise a thick mist that strangles the life out of everything in its way. From this mist, the twisted souls of those that fell prey to the coven arise, answering the call of the Voidlight Hag.
  • Fleshcarver Hag — The prized executioners of the coven. Fleshcarver Hags are masters of the dark art of shaping flesh into the service of the Crowmaidens. Tasked with the grim honor of creating twisted creatures such as the Crowman, they know how to carve the ancient dark runes in their victim’s flesh and extract from them every last drop of sweet pain and suffering, until the mortal’s soul is ripe enough to be harvested and it’s life thread cut.
  • Crowman Blightbeak — Their festering and putrid appearance is not to be mistaken with weakness or frailty. The Crowman Blightbeaks are ancient, incredibly strong and wickedly cunning. They are believed to be the first flock of Crowmen created by the coven, so they are imbued with years upon years of potent dark spells and incantations, all invoked with one singular purpose, to destroy any opposition to the Crowmaidens and further spread their corruption.

Morningstar Spawn at the Truelight Tower — Level 81-86

The Morningstars were the first settlers to discover Ostera, and evidence of their presence is visible all over the land. However, it is the Truelight Tower that inspires both awe and terror in the hearts of those native to Ostera. With high cliffs surrounding the area and only a single narrow bridge through which it can be accessed over land, the Morningstars have raised a true fortress from which to spread their influence.

New Morningstar Family Creatures

  • Morningstar Forester — Don't mistake the Morningstar Foresters for simple laborers. Every Morningstar expedition consists only of the best and most faithful soldiers, and these men are as skilled at felling trees as they are cutting down any heathen who dares stand in their way.
  • Morningstar Minuteman — They form the backbone of Morningstar expeditions, builders, farmers and settlers in newly claimed lands. But that doesn’t make them any less dangerous, as they’re also trained sharpshooters always ready to spring into battle, eager to drive back any threat to the expedition's progress.
  • Morningstar Smiter — When far from Firslight, in distant shores and strange lands, a Smiter serves as jury, judge, and executioner. Tasked with keeping the peace and enforcing the Hierophant's orders, they wield both faith and justice, delivering fiery judgement to those who dare defy the Morningstar laws.
  • Morningstar Missionary — In the distant wilds where Mornginstar expeditions push forward, the Missionary proves invaluable. Endless jungles and swamps can wear down a soldier's spirits, but these fervent preachers sustain both faith and discipline, converting heathens as zealously as they remind their brothers and sisters of their righteous path.

Tiger Bug and Poisonpetal Spawns at the Venomroot Hollows — Level 76-79 (Tiger Bugs) & Level 82-85 (Poisonpetals)

While the bond between Naturalists and the dense forests and caves of Ostera is strong, there are some places even they don't dare to venture into for too long. One such system of caves lies directly below the Hidden Grotto to the far east of Ostera. Within those caves lies a massive Tiger Bug hive packed with specialized Troopers and Spitters to deter any intruders. Lorekeepers speculate that the Tiger Bugs may have some sort of symbiotic relationship to the Poisonpetal colony found deeper inside those caves, and the Tiger Bugs may in fact be protecting them. However conclusive evidence is yet to be presented and the Poisonpetals themselves appear to be surrounded by significant fungal growths.

New Tiger Bug Family Creatures

  • Tiger Bug Spitter — Tiger Bug Spitters are rarely seen outside their colonies, as they serve mainly as worker drones. The substance they secrete, once solidified, reinforces the hive's walls and tunnels. However, they are far from defenseless, as this substance also doubles as a highly corrosive acid, which they will launch at any threat or intruder.
  • Tiger Bug Soldier —  Tiger Bug colonies are believed to sprawl miles below the surface, yet no expedition has returned successful in mapping one. Most of these daring efforts meet their end crushed beneath the pincers of a Tiger Bug Soldier, the hulking guardian of the hive, tasked with dealing with any intruder intending to reach its deeper chambers.

New Poisonpetal Family Creatures

  • Poisonpetal Stinger — These small creatures are considerably more fragile than their larger kin and perhaps due to this, they prefer to engage in hit-and-run tactics. By keeping their distance, Stingers can live up to their name and fire noxious darts that deliver a cocktail of toxin to neutralize their enemies.
  • Poisonpetal Ravager — Although a little sturdier than their Stinger counterparts, Ravagers gained their name for a ferocious fighting style and a strategy of never retreating, even at the cost of their lives. Whenever their ambushes fail, or their pick a fight against an opponent too powerful to overcome, the Ravager is capable, through a series of chemicals inside its body, to restrain its target and spark a combustive explosion aimed at killing itself and the target simultaneously. It is theorized that this behavior exists to prevent predators from harming other Poisonpetals.
  • Poisonpetal Prime — Although their body shape would imply a more animalistic intellect, Poisonpetal Primes behave as leaders for other Poisonpetals. They are well adept at chasing down prey that would otherwise be difficult to catch, plan ambushes and even empower other Poisonpetals by sapping enemies of their strength. While the research into Primes is limited, Lorekeepers agree that engaging a Prime is akin to battling an entire pack of wolves.
  • Poisonpetal Thornmaw — Some scholars believe Poisonpetals have endless variants, as these creatures can rapidly adapt to their environment. The Poisonpetal Thornmaw being one such case, many theorize it forms when multiple individuals fuse together into a far deadlier entity. Each head seems to act on its own, adding weight to that theory.
  • Poisonpetal Rotbloom —  A rare Poisonpetal variant, the Rotbloom thrives where life withers. Its fleshy petals lure the unwary with a sickly glow, while the twisted maw at its center exhales a creeping miasma. Those who linger too long find themselves choking on its poison, their bodies soon feeding the soil for new blooms to spread.

Bear Spawn at Endswood — Level 80-82

The Endswood is the last patch of accessible forest before reach the impassable terrain further to the East on Ostera. Within these ancient woods, massive Black and Dire Bears roam in search of food. Although some people still choose to inhabit the clearing on the edges of the forest, all know that the true masters of these woods are the monsters that patrol them.

New Bear Family Creature

  • Black Bear — Black Bears thrive in forests, hills, and even the edges of human settlements. Though they prefer to avoid confrontation, they can be fiercely territorial when provoked, striking with surprising speed and overwhelming strength. Best left undisturbed, these relentless giants are not to be underestimated.

Stoneling Spawn at Tremoring Hills — Level 77-81

Though previously believed to be limited to the mainland, Stonelings were discovered on the north side of Ostera by Ravenscout expeditions when they experienced a sudden earthquake throughout their camp. The initial alarm quickly wore off when they realized that what they actually experienced was the tremors of a stampede of Stonelings racing down the nearby hills. In the end these tremors are what gave the hills their name.

Ghost Ship Spawn around the Abandoned Dock

The Abandoned Dock in the Fields of Despair is rarely used by anyone, hence the name. However, some folks do traverse the waters that surround it either in search of lost treasures or opportunities for fish. It appears that the increased traffic in recent days has provoked the notoriously dangerous waters and reports of Ghost Ships are abound. Previously an incredibly rare sight, it seems that the drowned vengeful souls have risen up to patrol and attack anyone that disturbs their watery grave...

While we have a handful of other balance changes we want to implement, introducing 2 brand new Archetypes — leading to 60 new customizable class combinations — creates significant meta adjustments that we want to observe carefully. We want to first see how this meta develops and settles before making any further changes that could be unnecessary given the introduction of these 2 powerful new archetypes.

We will be actively monitoring necessary changes with the launch of Treasures Below and will likely be fine-tuning quite a bit based on the data that comes in. This measured approach ensures that every adjustment we make is informed by real player experiences and emerging strategies, rather than premature changes that might disrupt the natural evolution of the new meta.

Level Cap

This Expansion introduces exciting new systems and progression opportunities, with Expeditions standing out as a true test of skill and preparation. To accommodate these challenges, we are raising the level ceiling and adjusting the Softcap accordingly:

  • Effective Level Cap increased from 80 to 85.
  • Softcap raised to 725 points total at Effective Level 85.
    • Softcap multiplier increased from 7 to 15 from Effective Level 76 to 80.
    • Softcap multiplier increased from 7 to 25 from Effective Level 81 to 85.

Stats & Weapons

We are taking steps to shake up the existing meta and create space for new builds to thrive. One of the first changes targets Intelligence-based builds:

  • Removed Healing Power scaling from Intelligence.
  • Increased Healing Power scaling from Wisdom: 0.75 → 0.80.

Spellcasters currently enjoy a powerful combination of high damage, strong crowd control, mobility, and sustain. Given Intelligence's dominant role, we believe it’s time to shift some of that survivability away — encouraging a more "glass cannon" identity and making build choices more meaningful.

Additionally, to help bridge the uptime gap between Melee weapon users and Ranged weapon users (frequently mage builds), we have increased the combat movement speed of Melee weapon users by 10%. While this amount may seem small, we have seen significantly stronger uptime and ability to re-engage for melee wielders during our testing. We will continue to adjust as necessary to ensure all combat styles remain competitive and engaging.

Threat

While the Threat system added valuable depth to PvE encounters, its initial implementation spread special threat rules across all Archetypes, resulting in confusion.

To improve clarity and reinforce the distinct role of Protection-focused builds, we've removed most of the unique threat interactions from non-tank Archetypes. Threat is now more intuitive and better highlights role-based gameplay. The following skills retain custom Threat generation or decay rules:

  • Protection ー Bash, Provoke, Spirit Shield, Unchained, Smiting Smash, Unbreakable, Strong Footed, and Devout Protector.
  • Warfare ー Spiked Chains, Bladestorm, and Savagery.
  • Shadow ー Crippling Dagger and Shadowbind.
  • Archery ー Disengage and Venom Grenade.
  • Witchcraft ー Siphon and Mirror Image.
  • Wizardry ー Frost Armor and Fire Shield.
  • Spiritual ー Air Aura, Force Push, and Meditate.
  • Holy ー Holy Shackles, Holy Force, Living Saint, and Healing Attunement.

Archetypes

Earthquake (Warfare)

  • Increased Slow from 30% → 40%.

Concentrated Impact (Warfare)

  • Increased Defense Power reduction from 3% → 6% of Weapon Power.
  • Reduced the maximum stacks from 5 → 2.

Divine Purpose (Protection)

  • Added new effect that reduces Mana Regeneration by 20%.

Cataclysm (Wizardry)

  • Increased the impact area of falling meteors and added a new effect to represent this.

Achievements

For our Achievement hunters, we are introducing dozens of new objectives spread across the new content added in Treasures Below, alongside many titles to show off your dedications!

  • Added 39 new Achievements associated with the new Archetypes, Arena and Expeditions.
  • Added 18 new Player Titles tied to the new Achievements.

Marketplace

To combat unfair and rule-breaking activities such as botting, we are introducing a new rule affecting Non-Patron players’ access to the Marketplace and Personal Trading.

  • Non-Patrons will now gain access to the Marketplace (buying and selling) at Legacy Level 40.
  • Non-Patrons will gain access to Personal Trading at Legacy Level 45.

While this is a significant increase from the previous thresholds, we believe this step is necessary to deter malicious practices and maintain a fair playing environment for all.

At the same time, we want to support honest players making the most of their time in RavenQuest. To ease the impact of these new restrictions, we are introducing several helpful rewards that will accelerate progression:

  • Tier 3 Equipment Chest rewards starting at Legacy Level 30.
  • A small amount of Bonded Infusion rewards granted with every Legacy Level gained.
  • A large quantity of Bonded Infusions awarded at key North Star Quest milestones (15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60).

Consumable rewards beginning at Legacy Level 10 and then every 5 Legacy Levels until Level 50, providing essential food buffs for smooth progression. These consumables are Soulbound and cannot be traded, ensuring they won’t disrupt the game economy.

Thanks to these additional consumables and Bonded Infusions, players restricted from Marketplace and Personal Trading access will still be able to level and progress steadily, without significant setbacks, until they reach the required levels to unlock these features naturally.

Aether Rifts

  • Added 2 new maps to the Aether Rifts map pool: Aether Forest map and Aether Castle map.
  • Changed the Unstable Chest obtained from Aether Rifts to now appear in the Quest Item Inventory instead of the main inventory. This prevents players from unintentionally earning rewards even after failing the Rift due to having a full inventory.
  • Updated Armor Set Bonuses in Aether Rifts: All armor types continue to grant bonuses when equipping 2 or 4 pieces, but a new stacking bonus has been added exclusively for full sets (4 pieces of the same armor type) inside Aether Rifts, to encourage deeper specialization:
    • Cloth Armor+5% Spell Defense.
    • Leather Armor-20% Stun, Slow, and Snare duration.
    • Plate Armor+5% Weapon Defense.

These changes aim to promote more diverse and strategic PvP builds within Aether Rifts.

Moas

  • Updated the chances of receiving a Pristine Moa Feather when releasing a Moa for Neststrings to now scale with the Moa's Tier - higher-tier Moas now have a significantly greater chance to drop Pristine Moa Feathers.
  • Improved Moa Treats: they now display the remaining number of steps before the effect expires and can be added to the action bar and the Conditions UI.

Creatures

  • Renamed the creature Tiger Bug to Tiger Bug Drone and updated the abilities of the newly renamed Tiger Bug Drone to better reflect its swarming nature ー it now becomes empowered when near other members of its hive.
  • Reworked the Mindslave Dwarves family by removing heavy crowd control abilities and replacing them with alternatives that still keep them threatening without being overly punishing.
  • Added special icons next to creature names to indicate their strength level and help players quickly assess a creature’s value, as higher base experience grants larger experience and loot bonuses. Icon colors follow the same progression as RavenCard rarities:
    • Light green — slightly above average strength.
    • Pink and yellow — significantly stronger creatures with much higher base experience.
  • Updated the following Rangers Company Creature categories:
    • Emberscale Drakes are now correctly categorized as Draconic.
    • Warhogs and Rats are now categorized as  Humanoids.

NPCs & World Map

  • Added 11 fully interactive dialogue NPCs across the island of Ostera.
  • Placed dozens of ambient NPCs with one-liner dialogue that triggers when approached, bringing more life and personality to the region.
  • The Southglade Dock in Zephyr Vale and Rook's Nest Dock in Ostera are now accessible for sea travel.

The ocean crossing between Zephyr Vale and Ostera is dangerous. Vampire Squids have been spotted around the cluster of islands halfway between the two landmasses attacking anyone in sight. Worse yet, disgruntled Morningstar sailors have begun patrolling near the docks on both sides seeking to extract tributes for passage. Now, more than ever, adventurers and merchants alike must be vary while crossing these waters.

User Interface

  • Added a “Crafted by” tag to all player-made equipment, visible in the item's hover tooltip.
  • Applied improvements to the RavenPack Opening UI - players can now click directly on each pack to select it.
  • Updated the Gathering and Butchering timers shown in the Professions UI to now correctly include Maturing time.
  • Updated the Fame Ul counter to now also track Fame earned from Arena and Expeditions.
  • Added a Search Bar to the House Editor Mode that allows players to quickly locate specific assets to place.
  • Added a Favorite feature to the House Editor Mode that will allow players to favorite assets and bring them to the front of the list when doing so.
  • Holding [Shift] while hovering over gear will now display expanded information, just like with Archetype skills. This change helps players better understand set bonuses and gear effects at a glance.

Miscellaneous

  • Updated the Death Penalty behavior: while under its effect, players will no longer gain Archetype Experience, Legacy Experience, Fame (related to Experience), Effort, or Supply Bags.
  • Added a global system message that announces when a Culled Eyes spawn appears in any region.
  • Added a "Sell All" button when selling to NPC Vendors. This button will sell all Qualities of the selected item in your inventory, eliminating the need to manually switch between item tiers to sell duplicates.
  • Updated the rules for receiving an Ankh from the Event A Sludging Mess. The chance to receive an Ankh is now checked individually for each player who meets the minimum contribution requirements, rather than being split among all participants.
  • With the arrival of new creatures, we are introducing several new items that can be sold to NPC Vendors for Silver.
  • The Wagon location is now shown on both the World Map and Mini Map when dismounted.
  • Reduced the drop rates of all Glory Shards by 20%.
  • Expanded the area of the Dynamic Event "For the Love of Demons" further east of Glademire fort.
  • A small variable silver tax is now applied when withdrawing $QUEST from the game, with rules in place to protect players and specific sources of $QUEST:
    • The minimum amount of $QUEST that can be withdrawn is now 1.
    • $QUEST deposited from the Website is exempt from this tax.
    • $QUEST obtained through the Play to Unlock system is also exempt.
    • All existing $QUEST balances prior to this update are grandfathered in and will not be taxed.

  • Disconnecting upon death no longer causes the Looter Tonic to disappear.
  • Delivering large quantities of items to NPCs (especially the Hungry Munk and Munk Fish Broker) no longer causes FPS drops.
  • Switching between Infusion and Augmenting tabs no longer causes FPS drops.
  • The Crafting skills "Expert Mend" and "Master Mend" now have the correct durability values displayed in their descriptions.
  • Compass highlights on the Minimap will now always be displayed, even if the circular minimap boundary cuts off part of the highlight.
  • The Heavy Chains Amulet is no longer applying its Attack Power debuff while inside a Rift.
  • The "Press F" prompt is now properly appearing when trying to enter the dungeon during Part 5 of Quest ''The Slayer's Guild''.
  • Fixed an issue where creatures ocean creatures could be instantly killed while still spawning.
  • Fixed an issue where texts in the Game Chat were being auto-translated unexpectedly.
  • Fixed an issue where legacy Cosmetic items retained multiple versions due to the previous multi-quality system.
  • Fixed an issue where supporting players were not being credited for certain creature drops, such as Glory Shards.
  • Fixed several map-related issues across multiple zones, including Sajecho Island, Hadarak Desert (Desert and Djinns Palace), Ostera, Frost Steppes, and Fields of Despair (Skorn Castle).
