Warrior Mage Fighting

Fenrath - The Master of the Hunt

Long before the rise of mortal kingdoms, Fenrath stood as an ancient spirit of the wild hunt, a primal embodiment of predation revered by the early elves. Neither god nor beast, he existed as a force of nature, a silent warden of the balance between hunter and prey.

During a great war between elves and dwarves, that balance was broken. Fenrath was drawn into the conflict, his purpose twisted by endless bloodshed as the hunt gave way to slaughter. In the chaos of war, the line between guardian and predator faded, and something within him was lost.

The war ended, but Fenrath did not recover. What remained was no longer a warden of balance, but a force consumed by it. Now, the Master of the Hunt stalks the forests in an endless pursuit, no longer guarding the natural order, but enforcing a single truth: all who draw breath are prey.

Core Mechanic: Apex Hunter

Fenrath steadily applies stacks of Hunter’s Mark to players. While harmless on its own, Hunter’s Mark interacts with the Master of the Hunt’s abilities, transforming Marks into different forms of punishment depending on his current Aspect.

Shifting Aspects

The Master of the Hunt cycles through four Aspects, each empowering his abilities in a different way. As Fenrath shifts between them, the way Hunter’s Mark is used against the party changes, forcing players to adapt to an ever-evolving hunt.

Spirit Hunter

Throughout the fight, Fenrath splits into four spirits, each embodying a different Aspect. When the hunt ends, the Aspects that remain will shape his next assault.

Moas & Wagon

◈ Wild Hunt Moa Armor (2,000 Renown) — Attune your Moa to the spirit of the hunt with a mantle of antlers, hide, and bone claimed from mighty prey. Ride with the cold certainty of a hunter stalking its mark.

◈ Wild Hunt Wagon (2,000 Renown) — Built from the bounty of the wild, this wagon feels less like it is being pulled and more like it follows. Tracks fade quickly behind it. A useful habit when traveling the wilds.

House Decoration, Banner & Trophy

◈ Tree of Life Sapling (1,000 Renown) — A living fragment of the world's oldest groves. Its roots pulse with quiet, enduring power.

◈ Wild Hunt Banner (750 Renown) — Bound with living roots and ancient bark, a stalking presence can be felt near it.

◈ Master of the Hunt Trophy (Base Renown: 500 / Enchanted Renown: 1,000) — An ancient mark of the hunt's dominion. Its surface hums with a predatory will. Using this trophy allows it to be placed in your house and grants you a permanent bonus of Dexterity +4%. Trophies can also be traded or sold on the Marketplace.
