Adventurers, as we look ahead to the challenges and content coming in the next months, it’s important to have a clear view of where we stand today. To help with that, all minor updates implemented after the Munk Madness Expansion are present in this post, organized by date.
This collection serve as both a reference and a foundation for the journey ahead — making sure no detail is missed as we move forward together.

Effective Level
The Effective Level Cap for Archetypes has been increased from 90 to 95.
Effective Levels 91 through 95 will grant 40 Stat Points cap increase per level.
We know that reaching the current cap can feel like progression comes to an abrupt stop, reducing or completely removing the drive to continue progression of your Character as a whole. Entirely removing the effective level cap is not the direction we want to take, so we have been designing and building out a more unique end-game progression system that provides meaningful long-term goals and scales well into the future.
Building this system will take some time to ensure it delivers something truly unique and an organic fit into late game progression. So for the mean time, we are expanding the Effective Level Cap to 95, allowing players to continue progressing while we develop this new system - which we will share more about in the future.
Improved Catch-Up Mechanic
The Book of Heroism has been reworked to provide a more dynamic progression experience for new and returning Adventurers.
Previously, the Book granted a flat 2x EXP bonus between Legacy Levels 20 and 60. While significant when originally implemented almost a year ago, as progression has evolved, this has become far less significant, making it increasingly difficult for newer players to participate with the rest of the community, causing a significant barrier and frustration for new players wanting to start RavenQuest.
The Book now gives players the Aspiring Hero blessing, a dynamic catch-up bonus that automatically adjusts based on your progress relative to the rest of the playerbase.
Instead of a rigid level to level bonus, that abruptly stops at a specific level, the bonus is now calculated using the average Legacy Level of the Top 1000 Adventurers, updated once per day during the server reboot. This means the catch-up system naturally evolves alongside the server's progression.
The bonus starts at up to 2.5x Experience at Level 20 and gradually decreases as you approach the current progression benchmark. The reduction is intentionally non-linear, meaning you will retain a strong bonus through the early and mid game (20-60) with it steeply tapering off down to a 4% bonus as you get closer to the average top player level.
Once your Legacy Level reaches the current Top 1000 average, the bonus becomes inactive. If the server's progression advances in the future and you once again fall below the benchmark, the blessing will automatically reactivate with the appropriate bonus.
To support this rework:
• The Book of Heroism still becomes available through the North Star questline upon reaching Legacy Level 20, but now grants the new Aspiring Hero blessing instead of the old fixed EXP bonus.
• All players who had previously unlocked the Book of Heroism will automatically receive a new copy, allowing them to activate the updated blessing. Any existing catch-up EXP bonuses from the previous system will be removed and replaced by the new one.
• While active, the Aspiring Hero blessing is displayed in the Buff UI and dynamically updates as the server progression benchmark changes.
This new system allows the catch-up experience to scale naturally as progression continues to evolve in RavenQuest, helping new and returning players while also preserving meaningful progression for those leading the journey!
Tyrants
• The Tyrants have now completed their initial rotation, meaning the system has officially transitioned to its random weekly selection. As a reminder, each week's Tyrant is chosen randomly, with one important rule: the same Tyrant can never be selected two weeks in a row.
• The Tyrant difficulty system has been expanded to support further progression. Players can now challenge Tyrants up to Sigil 10, increasing the previous maximum from Sigil 5. This update also lays the foundation for a new layer of game progression arriving in Update 1.3.1. With that update, players will be able to earn two new progression rewards by pushing into higher Sigil difficulties (one exclusive reward tied to Sigils 4–7, and another for Sigils 8–10).
Fixes
• Fixed an issue where the wrong Moa could be selected when listing a Moa for sale in the Marketplace.
• Fixed an issue where Moa Cosmetics were incorrectly displayed as Wagon Skins and were missing their descriptions in the Ascendable Inventory UI.
• Fixed a visual issue where Tradepack Storage slots in the Munk Warehouse could become invisible when hovered over with the mouse cursor.
• Fixed an issue in the Dynamic Event "Scales of Corruption" where the Mysterious Solution item was not being properly consumed from the player's inventory. The item is now correctly consumed when activating the event and when reopening the passage.

Tyrants
• A new Tyrant rises! As the Elemental Storm fades into the distance, thundering war drums echo from the eastern reaches of Ostera. Gor'bash has rallied his warband, and the War Drummer now stands as the active Tyrant, challenging adventurers to withstand the relentless rhythm of battle.
Munk Carnival
The Munk Carnival is now closed! However, due to the strong community engagement around MunkJack as a social and leisure activity, we've decided to keep the Carnival available on a limited schedule for the time being.
The Carnival will now open every Saturday after server reboot and remain available until Sunday server reboot.
A few important reminders:
• Weekend openings do not represent a new Munk Carnival season. The Carnival will simply reopen with the current season's progress and rewards. We will always announce when a new Carnival Season is being introduced.
• Carnival Milestones reset whenever a new season begins, and milestone rewards may change from season to season.
• Munk Luck does not reset. Every spin contributes to your existing Munk Luck progress and carries forward between Carnival openings and future seasons.
See you at the tables!
General
• [🤝] Added a new Accepted Currencies filter to the Marketplace, allowing players to easily browse listings based on their preferred payment method. Players can now filter between "Only Silver" and "Silver and $QUEST" listings directly from the filters menu.
• [🤝] Added unity separators to Experience and Silver values across multiple instances to improve readability (e.g. 1000000 → 1,000,000).
• [🤝] Summons created through Munk Songs (Expeditions) are now walkable.
• Added PT-BR translations to the Relics & Trophies tabs in the Adventure Journal.
• Improved clarity around Moa Bonding requirements when using Moa skills (barks, descriptions and translations).
Fixes
• The illustration for the Arcane Pet Squire Chicko is now the correct one.
• The Dynamic Event "Forest of Wrath" is now properly rewarding the correct version of the Elderwood Log.
• With the introduction of the Naturalist and Ballistics Archetypes, two existing class names were duplicated across different Archetype combinations. To improve clarity and avoid confusion in class progression, we are renaming the affected classes so they no longer appear under the "Novice" overlap: Spiritual, Protection, Shadow is now Windstriker instead of Inquisitor. Wizardry, Shadow, Archery is now Soulhunter instead of Shade.
• Fixed an issue where certain Archetype skills were incorrectly bypassing all damage checks and immunities. These skills now properly respect damage reduction effects and immunity mechanics as intended. Impacted skills/Cards are:
- Healing Bond Target
- Torment Configuration
- RavenCard Emberscale Drake
- RavenCard Runegust Jackal
- RavenCard Many-Eyes Trunk
- RavenCard Froll Gladiator
- RavenCard Morningfox Cub
- RavenCard Hog Saboteur
- RavenCard Rubycap Mushroom
- RavenCard Toad Farseer
- RavenCard Iceforge Winterlord (caster and target)

Tyrants
• A new Tyrant rises! As the Mad Scientist retreats to plan new experiments, dark clouds gather beyond the endless dunes of eastern Hadarak. Sultan Zaraketh stirs within his Dominion, and the Elemental Storm now stands as the active Tyrant, threatening to unleash the full fury of the elements upon any who challenge him.
General
• Applied several back-end optimizations to improve the game's overall performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Increased the base value and distance scaling of Tradepacks, raising their average Silver value by approximately 340%. This change only applies to newly created Tradepacks (existing Tradepacks will retain their original values).
Fixes
• Fixed an issue where the Bandit tutorial interface could become stuck and could not be closed.

Rangers Company
Since the Rangers Company revamp was introduced, we have been closely monitoring player progression, completion times, and community feedback.
Based on the data collected and the feedback shared by the community, we are implementing the following adjustments to improve task pacing, reward consistency, and the overall experience. These changes are intended to better align the system with its original design goals while addressing some of the most common concerns raised by players.
• [🤝] Creature kill count goals have been reduced to better reflect spawn density. The duration of long tasks should now be closer to our initially proposed target of approximately 18 minutes.
• [🤝] Bounty Mark rewards have been adjusted to match the new task level ranges. Rewards across all tasks have been rebalanced to provide a more consistent amount of rewards, reducing the need for players to choose tasks solely based on reward value.
• Tasks that were not properly counting creatures (such as Sharks and Venomfang Drakes) had their level ranges updated.
• The "XP" label from Rangers Company tracker interface has been removed to reflect the recent goal changes.
Due to these changes, all active Rangers Company tasks in progress at the time of maintenance have been reset. This was necessary to ensure that all tasks correctly reflect the new creature requirements, level ranges, and reward structure. Players can obtain a new task from the Rangers Company and continue progressing normally.
Additionally, added 7 new Rangers Company tasks:
• Spikeback Tortoises [43-52] in Gilead Island
• Spikeback Tortoises [72-84] in Gilead Island
• Jackals [84-95] in Hadarak Desert
• Djinns [84-95] in Hadarak Desert
• Elderwoods [84-95] in Ravencrest
• Frolls [84-95] in Glaceforde
• Hookmasks [80-90] in Zephyr Vale
As always, we will continue to monitor the Rangers Company closely after these changes go live and will make additional adjustments whenever necessary to ensure the system remains rewarding, balanced, and enjoyable for everyone.
General
• Distributed the rewards for the Expedition Jewels Leaderboard. Eligible Top 50 players have now received their corresponding Gemstone rewards and the exclusive GG Kill Animation.
Fixes
• Fishing nodes are now spawning correctly during the Reel Big Fish event.

Tyrants
• A new Tyrant rises! As Fenrath retreats into the wilds, the Sun King awakens within his Dominion in the jungles of Gilead. Sol Xoloth now stands as the active Tyrant, daring adventurers to challenge his solar might.
• Fame earned from Tyrants is now properly accounted for in the Daily Fame Chest, allowing it to benefit from Renown and Guild Multipliers, just like other activities. For tracking purposes, Tyrant Fame is displayed under the same category as Expeditions.
• Reduced the entry cost of the first Tyrant run from 20,000,000 silver to 16,000,000 silver. Entry costs for all subsequent normal runs remain unchanged.
• Increased the No Reward Run limit from 3 to 5, and made them now free to enter.
Community Star
The new Community Star System has arrived! 🌟
Designed to recognize and celebrate players who make RavenQuest a better place, Community Stars will be awarded to Adventurers who stand out through their positive impact on the community, whether by helping other Adventurers, creating fun and unique content, organizing events, being welcoming to new community members, ultimately any way of making a positive contribution to the world of RavenQuest!
Players who are assigned a Community Star will receive a +5% Renown Bonus for 7 days, applied upon logging in. In addition, the Renown Interface now includes a dedicated Community Star category, making it easy to track this special bonus.
Do not ask for a Community Star for something you did. Community Stars are randomly given out by Knighter and Community Managers. There is no hard set rules on when they're given out, how many are given out, or specific requirements to receive one. They will also be given out in Discord Events and Social Media events. All Community Stars given out are logged & reviewed as well to ensure fair distribution.
Primary ways you can get Community Stars:
• Being a positive impact within our communities
• Being helpful to new Adventurers
• Creating fun/unique content
• Organizing in-game events
• Social Media Engagement
• Community Discord Events
This is our way of shining a spotlight on the players who help build an amazing community around RavenQuest. Keep being awesome, as you never know when a star might be headed your way!
General
• The Bonus Gemstones obtained from every Expedition Chest are no longer applied to the first Expedition run of the day. We were seeing a significant uptick in abuse around this, and while we are keeping the Bonus Gemstones from each chest opened, we unfortunately have to put it behind Munk Snacks.
• The silver entry cost of the first Legendary Expedition from 50,000 silver to 500,000 silver. This increase was originally significantly higher, but with the significant improvements to the silver economy, we are keeping it at the price of 1/3rd of a gemstone on the marketplace.
• Increased the silver amount to upgrade Legendary RavenCards to Shiny Rarity from 10,000,000 to 30,000,000.
Fixes
• Fixed an issue where double-clicking an Infusion would not correctly add it as Infusion Material within the UI.
• The Lucky Wheel Milestone reward now correctly grants 2,000 Lucky Stubs. Adventurers who previously reached this milestone will receive any missing Lucky Stubs retroactively.

Fixes
• The Guild Multiplier is now being correctly applied to the Daily Fame Chest rewards. All missing Fame that was not properly granted since the issue was introduced has been delivered retroactively to affected players.

General
• Tyrants are now available to be challenged! The first Tyrant of the rotation is... Fenrath ! Have fun, Adventurers!
• Natural Blackjacks now provide an automatic win, with a 2x payout instead of the previous 2.5x payout.
• The Stub generation rate from Munkjack has been reduced properly to the 50% rate of other Carnival Games such as Dice Games.
Note: The team is aware of and currently working on the Guild Multiplier issue, and we hope to have it fixed soon.
